THE PERSON BEHIND THE LENS
Hey, I'm Kyle.
I'm a photographer, filmmaker, and the founder of True North Lens, based in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
I believe the best images do more than look good. They tell a story, capture a feeling, and give people something worth coming back to.
Whether I'm documenting a family's favorite moments or helping a business bring its vision to life, my goal is simple: create work that feels authentic, intentional, and uniquely yours.
MY STORY
More than just a camera.
True North Lens began in 2018 with a simple idea: create images that mean something. What started as a creative passion has grown into an opportunity to tell stories through photography and filmmaking.
Over the years, I've learned that the best photographs aren't always the perfectly posed ones. They're the genuine smiles, unexpected moments, and little details that make a story worth remembering.
That same approach carries into my commercial work. I want to understand the people behind a business, what they're building, and how we can create visuals that represent them.
Whether we're working on a family session or a brand campaign, I want the experience to feel collaborative, comfortable, and genuinely enjoyable.
